A project's funding expires when the timeframe(s) specified in the spend plan runs out. Once this happens, budget enforcements will no longer trigger, and a Funding Expired badge will display. The budget enforcements will not be removed from the project, and any enforcements triggered before the expiration will remain triggered.
Users can make the project active again by adding additional funding or extending the lifespan of the project by changing the Months Applied fields on the existing spend plan. Read how to do this in the Edit a Project Spend Plan section of the knowledge base.
