What Is Dark Mode?
Dark Mode is an optional display setting in Kion that allows users to switch the interface from the standard light theme to a darker color scheme. This setting affects the visual appearance of the application only and does not change functionality or behavior.
Dark Mode can be enabled on a per-user basis by changing the app theme to dark from the user account menu drop down.
Why Use Dark Mode?
Many users prefer Dark Mode for personal comfort or accessibility reasons. Common benefits include:
- Reduced eye strain in low-light environments
- Improved readability for some users
- Lower screen brightness, which may help reduce fatigue during extended use
Dark Mode is provided to give users flexibility in how they interact with Kion.
Current Status (Beta)
Dark Mode is currently available in beta as of Kion v3.15.
- Some areas of the application may not yet be fully optimized
- Certain text, icons, charts, or UI elements may be less legible than in Light Mode
- Dark Mode is not the recommended default while it remains in beta
Users who require maximum clarity across all features may prefer to continue using Light Mode until Dark Mode exits beta.
