Release v3.17.3 (2026-10-14)

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Update Notes

Some changes may require action before updating to this version. Visit the Guidance on Updating section before beginning the update process.

What's Changed

  • (13964): Updated how AWS Marketplace spend appears in spend report services and service categories, bringing the actual Product Name as the Service.

  • (14104): Added support for Kion Savings Opportunities features in the Azure TS and Azure Secret regions.

  • (14419): Lux now supports model reasoning on Bedrock, Anthropic, and OpenAI, and admins can pick a reasoning level per model tier in AI Assistant settings.

Bug Fixes

  • (14054): Fixed an issue where the Spend Report Refunds & Discounts and Credits detail pages (and their CSV exports) listed duplicate line items for accounts used as spend scope sources when using the Billed or Unblended spend type.

  • (14120): Fixed Google Cloud console access for Cloud Access Roles inherited from an OU, resolving an issue where federation failed with a “Failed to dynamically assign you access” error. After upgrading, IAM sync adds tracking markers to the descriptions of custom roles generated for Cloud Access Roles. These updates may cause a one-time increase in Google Cloud audit log activity. Users that were impacted by this issue may temporarily need to retry console access while affected roles are being synchronized.

  • (14309): Fixed an issue with scopes created via allocation billing rules being inaccurately filtered out within spend reports.

  • (14352): Fixed an issue where financials-poller and financials-processor run into lock contentions that can dramatically slow down the pace of cost data ingest.

  • (14434): Fixed an issue where creating or editing a scope with a name or alias that already exists failed with a generic error. Kion now shows a message explaining that a scope with that name or alias already exists.

  • (14130): Added security improvements to the Audit Log functionality.

  • (986, 13652, 14124, 14425): Updated dependencies to resolve vulnerabilities.
