Edit an Internal IDMS

When you edit the IDMS, any changes you make will apply immediately. If you shorten the password expiration, any users with passwords that are older than the expiration value will be asked to reset their password on next login. If you enforce MFA, users will be prompted to register their MFA device on next login before they are able to access any of the screens in the application.

To edit an Internal IDMS:

  1. In the left navigation menu, click Users > Identity Management Systems.
  2. Click the ellipsis icon next to the IDMS you want to edit, and select Edit.
  3. You can modify the Select MFA field.
  4. You can modify the Password Expiration field.
  5. You can turn on/off the Lock User Login After Consecutive Failures field, allowing you to modify the Number of Consecutive Failures Before Lockout, turn on/off the Enable Login After Duration field, and modify the Lockout Duration in Minutes field.
  6. Click Update.
