AWS Deployment: Logging in for the First Time 

Once Kion is installed, you can log in and start using the application. See this page for the web browsers supported by Kion. Follow these steps to get started:

Initialization

  1. Once the application stack is complete, you can find the URL of the instance in the Outputs tab of the kion-app stack under UserLoadBalancer.
    • If you specified a Domain Name to use with your instance, use this value to create a CNAME record for the DNS name you used in the Domain Name parameter within the stack.
    • If you created a new CNAME, navigate to the domain name you specified.
    • If you did not create a CNAME and did not specify a Domain Name, use the UserLoadBalancer URL from the CloudFormation template.
  2. Create a new password for the admin user
  3. Enter the license key you were provided for your installation.
  4. If prompted, acknowledge any EULA prompts.

Initial Login

  1. Enter the username: admin.
  2. Enter your password from the Initialization section above.
  3. Click Log In.
