Dynamic Client Registration

This feature is part of the OAuth 2.0 specification supported by Kion. Dynamic Client Registration allows OAuth clients with this support to dynamically create an OAuth Client configuration within Kion on-demand. This configuration improves convenience for getting OAuth clients attached to the Kion platform.

Dynamic Client Registration does come with security risks associated with it. Any OAuth Client with access can create a configuration within Kion. This configuration does not provide any access to the Kion platform but does allow an application to provide OAuth authorization for users. You must evaluate whether or not this is permissible within your environment before enabling this feature.

This feature is disabled by default.
